2015 Lexus LX 570
We bought this vehicle used and it has been awesome for what it is. You have to understand it's a Lexus Land Cruiser, and if you're okay with bad gas mileage and the trade offs of Land Cruisers, you'll enjoy this vehicle. The air suspension still rides like a dream after 10 years. Mechanically this car is fantastic and tons of power when you're accelerating into traffic. No rust yet-- … this car is exclusively west coast (CA and then WA).
Here's the issues we've faced: (1) the leather is basically tissue-paper, we have some holes and tears, and this will cost ~$3500 per seat to replace (Seattle area); (2) the sound system works when it wants to-- on colder mornings there's a popping noise and then when the car warms up, it works; (3) after 64k miles and 10 years, the hand brake is loose; (4) needs new paint in the next few years, but it is a 10 yo car that isn't kept in a garage (doesn't fit).
It's a typical Toyota with Toyota maintenance: follow the service schedule and enjoy.
