2022 Toyota GR Supra 3.0 Premium 2dr Coupe (3.0L 6cyl Turbo 8A)
The styling is eye catching,. But let's be honest even the dopest Super Model has flaws...I had a gaggle of people around my car at work, people rolling their car windows down complementing me or giving me thumbs up or simple expressing their like of the car. Not that it truly matters because I find this car simply sexy at all angels. The interior is about that sports car life. I had a … Dodge Conquest TSI back in the 80's and cars of that generation lead t the bloat of sports cars in the 90s before SUVs started killing them off. So to address the elephant in the room now, this is a Toyota Supra not a BMW. True the interior maybe like most of the parts Bimmer, but it has that Supra soul and you can tell Toyota hands their hands all in the mix. Clean interior, high quality materials, and laid out intelligently with a minimalist touch, Feng shui. Interior noise, it's a sports car I have a 2018 A5 Sport back Prestige and it's that quiet luxury, different tool. The ride can be set to normal and it behaves like a super heroes alter ego, but when sport mode is selected the beast is unleashed. The quality of this vehicle all around is amazing. All reviews are subjective to the person giving them. My search was for a sports car with that old sports car rawness. Sure the Corvette is out there but I've never been a big America car fan. True there is the so called elites status of the European vehicles, but the reliability and quality of a brand like Toyota was a tremendous selling point for me. 5 year 60K warranty...yeah man. Funny thing is I flew to a rain soaked Hackensack, NJ to purchase a car I never test drove. Not once even rode in one. That's a first for me after owning I believe 15 vehicles. 1st real wheel drive vehicle, my last four being AWD. This car did not disappoint It performed nicely, I took it easy to observe the 1,200 mile break-in period of staying below 100 MPH , not revving over 4500 RPM and hard breaking (the breaks are strong). Impressive vehicle all around especially when the competition is nearly $20K
more. I drove from Hackensack, NJ to Augusta, GA, yeah. Comfortable and tempting to to push her to the limits...I behaved. Now that I'm wll over 1200k miles oh what a thrill!! Handling power, braking, ride, comfort....true the entry exit takes a little getting use to but I had the same with my Audi. And I drive the Supra everyday to work and to teach. My Audi is in the car hospital.
