We researced for SUV's for about 8 months before we got the XL7 Limited. We wanted 3 seats, leather, sunroof, 4wd, not too big, not too small,and great build quility and comfort. The more we searched the more we found out that there really are not many choices if you did not want to spend over $30k.

This car is a great all purpose car. 4WD for offroad and the snow, while seating up to 7 9albeit a coupel of kids in the back). Fuel economy for this size car is great but dont compare to a midsize car. It drives well and the standard features are fantastic. Compare it to other SUVs in this size and you will be amazed at the value.

My family was looking for a SUV which comes with real 4WD so that we might travel on the national sea shore at south Texas. We also like a vehicle that would take more than 5 people because our friends visit us very often. The XL-7 has been running on the sea shore with no problems. The 4-WD and 7 seats feature provides us lots of fun. We are not playing harsh on this vehicle. Our 4WD XL-7 so far handle very well on the muddy road and by the sea shore.

I am very impressed thusfar with my vehicle. I previously owned a Toyota 4Runner and am quite happy with the Suzuki. The extra seat is wonderful for a growing family. I would like it a little wider but can live with it. However, I would not buy from Empire Suzuki in Montclair, CA. I encountered several problems with their dealership and dealing with these problems via their purported customer service was a most unpleasant and caustic experience. Fortunately, the vehicle makes up for it.

I searched for months to find an SUV with high safety ratings, comes with many options and a low price. This was it! I compared this SUV with the Toyota RAV-4, Jeep Liberty, & Ford Escape to find this was the best deal and a safe vehicle, unlike some of the above. I have not been dissappointed yet! I love this SUV. It's exactly what I wanted and expected.
