Used 2010 Suzuki Kizashi Consumer Reviews
Best bang for your buck EVER!!
I have been driving a new Kia every year for the last 10 years. I went to test drive the new Optima but it felt a little too big and heavy for me, almost as heavy as the new Sonata felt when I tested that one out. I took a chance and test drove the Kizashi. SPORTY! Bought it! Thats all I can say! I also like that while every Joe on my block has a Sonata, Camry, Accord or Altima I am not looking like a follower, I feel distinct. This car is Americas best kept automotive secret (no thanks to Suzukis week marketing department!)
Best Vehicle for the Money!
Not much to say here, other than you need to drive this car! Handling is comparable to a BMW, styling is over the top! Price, WOW. 24,695 sticker, paid 21,000 OTD. For the individual's commenting on the paint quality, I agree it may not have the thickest paint coating, but it's very durable. Try waxing your car with a polymer based wax. Performance on this car is great with the 2.4 and 6 spd manual, I did not care for the CVT. Do your self a favor, BUY ONE!!
Great car for the money
Just took delivery of a GTS FWD 6- speed. Cant believe its a Suzuki. What amazes me is the fit and finish of this car as well as the quiet and smooth ride. This thing has so many standard features for what you have to pay. Plenty of power, Great gas mileage, Rockford Fosgate Sound. Push button start, power memory seat, and the list goes on. Do yourself a favor and drive one of these things before you decide on anything else.
Paint Chip Problems at 3,000 miles
This car WOULD be great if Suzuki stood behind ALL of its work in its warranty. My vehicle has numerous paint chips in it and I have had it for < 2 months. I live in the mid-west and haven't even driven it on a dirt road yet. It also has scratches everywhere from rocks. Paint quality is horrible. Took it to the dealership I bought it from that was 2 1/2 hours away. The service manager took pictures of every chip at that time. Came home and discovered there were 10 new chips from my 2 1/2 hour ride home on the highway. Suzuki says they don't consider this to be a paint issue and it is not covered by the warranty. Really love the car but it doesn't matter if the outside looks horrible
Road Side Assistance
On our way to a nice day trip about 160 miles from home when the car started acting up. Only 10 days old with 700 miles on it and the car's gears stop shifting and the rpm were running 4-5k at 30-40 mph. We switched to manual mode and the car worked for a little while but switched automatically to drive mode and revved the engine again at 30-40 mph. Pulled over for the third time and shut car off and tried again in manual mode. This time car gas pedal would not work. Car worked in reverse not in drive or manual mode. Called RoadSide assistance and thought all will be fine. Closest tow truck was 45 miles away. (continued)
