RAM continues to struggle with transmission issues
I do not recommend a new or used RAM truck. They still continue to have drastic transmission problems.

Almost A Homerun on Safety....
When we purchase a new vehicle... safety is #1! You can replace a damaged vehicle, but you can't replace your loved ones. This is where I am disappointed in RAM management and decision makers. Tehy had a change to deliver a 1-2% Safest veicle and missed it by not fixing a 4 Star Rating on the NHTSA tests. A huge missed opportunity! They also blew it on not getting a Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS and these combined erros cost them the InformedForLife 1% safest vehicle rating. How could they miss this... well I think it is because the really do not have a good and responsive line of communication from customers. THere is another area they are deficient in: drive train... They need to go to AWD using electric motors at the rear wheels. This coupled with a 40-45 gallon tank would move weight from the front to the read decrease complexity. Going to a TGDI powerplant would also increase efficieny and power. Yet another piece of this puzzle would be to include the most important safety features at all levels. As a new owner I would like these things to be available to me as retrofits when they accomplish them. My model was NOT available on the list so here it is 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Crewcab hybrid V8 5.6' SB w/33 gal tank, sunroof, split tailgate, RamBox etc....

Rock the Ram! 5.7 V8 HEMI
This is my fourth (4th) Ram 1500 4X4 Loaded Limited. Hands down the best luxury truck on the market! Prior to 2009 I was a Chevy truck guy.... After purchasing my first Ram in 2009 I have never looked back. This is absolutely the best truck dollar for dollar on the market.

9 year owner
I previously owned a 2012 Ram Tradesman. Loved it only traded in for a 2020 Ram Bighorn because of the mileage on the 2012. I would have rated this 5 stars if this truck would just stop bucking. I cruise at 43 the. Somewhere between 45 and 47 it starts bucking for 2 mph. Then stops and runs fine. Been to the shop twice and tomorrow is the third visit. May be switching back to a Chevy.

Made a bad deal.
Doesn't have a satellite radio. The console now has 2 instead of 3 cup holders. The console is almost useless. Almost impossible to search the console while driving. It is 1/3 the size of my 2018. Getting terrible gas mileage with the engine. Can't use gears to downshift or upshift with a problem. Removed the rear in-floor cargo holders. Many other things I don't like.
