Best Upgrade of ride for Road tripping lifestyle .
I've been driving my Kia Sorento V6 AWD since 2004, through all kinds of weather in the Northeast where I used to live and work and moved to Texas after retirement drove it mostly to visit state parks for camping with my two pets Beagles. I decided after 3 years of Texas life to venture out to Rocky Mountain states ,more off road camping adventures thus needs to haul more stuff . Buying the RAM Laramie was mostly influenced and guided me by reviews from Edmunds, watching their videos and researching about other reviews about safety standards. After test driving the Ram , I definitely knew it's the Best choice compared to other cars I optioned off. RAM Laramie is Luxury with power , smooth maneuvers , and comfortable long drive, responsive control system and love the safety features most of all , worthy of price because when going road trips ,safety and reliability plus comfort are Priceless...

Amazing truck - from ride to fit and finish.
This is simply the most amazing truck I’ve ever owned. And I’ve owned over half a dozen across all american brands. Best ride for a truck. Simply put. Fit and finish are class leading and way above it’s class. I’ve driven over 10,900 hard miles and not a single thing wrong. Nothing. The 12 inch display works flawlessly for me and the Harmon kardon stereo amazes with streaming services like Pandora or Spotify. Huge cabin and the seats are perfect for strong support but comfortable enough for long rides. Folks that ride along are just shocked and impressed. Plenty of power, towing, payload and comfort. Reliability is yet to be seen but given the fit and finish and my buddy’s 2019’s flawless performance with over 30,000 miles - I’m a believer in the new Rams. Pricey. But well worth it. I strongly suspect the negative reviews here are other brand owners simply jealous over the fact Ram has taken the lead. I have the Longhorn, SB, 5.7L with hybrid, air suspension and all options.

Luxury in a Truck
We've been long time Ram owners. So many in fact we lost track of how many we've had over the years as we decided to trade in our 2009 for a new one. We opted for the Limited and are enjoying all of it. The deciding factors haven't disappointed. The cameras and air suspension make it easy to hook up to a trailer, get in and out of tight spots, and for someone that has limited mobility the air suspension and steps have been incredibly helpful. We haven't put too many miles on it yet so far so good.

Great pickup
I spent a lot of time (about a year) trying to decide which truck to buy. Originally leaned towards Tundra which is a great truck as well, but the main difference for me was that with the Ram I could get a crew cab and a 6'4" bed. The Toyota only offers a longer bed with the quad cab. Also, the tech, although I really wasn't looking for it, is better on the Ram. I'm using my Ram as a work truck now but it's very comfortable when transporting others..I have a Laramie crew cab with 5.7L e-torque. I love that feature when I'm sitting at a stoplight for a minute and my engine isn't running. I have gotten as much as 21mpg on trips and average about 13 around town. (for some reason, where this review says 'select trim', it doesn't give Laramie with 5.7 e-torque as an option. That's why I selected Lone Star.) I've had this truck 3 plus years now and have still have nothing bad to say about it. Mileage hasn't changed, as high as 21 on highway and about 13 around town. Still comfortable as a people mover and all the extras I got with the Laramie are sorta worth it....

Luxurious Laramie
This truck is top notch, test drove the Big 3 and must say Ford and GMC have a ways to go to reach the comfort and drivability that the Ram offers! However... They need to expand the options on this servay, the model I bought isn't on the list of selections below. I purchased the Laramie Sport package with the 5.7 hemi, 5'7" bed.
Ram customer service is the worst!!!
Here's my letter to RAM, COMPLETELY IGNORED: I purchased a truck from one of your dealers to tow a camper that I was going to purchase. The truck was loaded with trailer brake control and the giant mirrors. The dealer mentioned that Ram trucks with the Hemi can tow 11,340 LBS with no mention of gear ratios. The gear ratio issue came up when I went to purchase the camper only to find out that my truck was not build to tow more than 8,000 LBS (even though it has a "tow package") due the 3.21 gears that are installed in the truck instead of the 3.95 gears that should have been in the tow package. I contacted Ram customer care, they sent me to the dealer only to get two insane options (swap out the gears for a full retail price of $6,000 or trade the truck at a $18,000 loss). I've had the truck for less than 6 months with less than 10,000 miles. I went back to Ram customer care only to get "I'm sorry there's nothing we can do". The dealer took advantage of me, a single widow of a disabled veteran that is on a fixed income to sell a truck that was ordered/built in a way that made it unsalable. Nobody without plans of towing would buy a truck with those ridiculous mirrors and nobody that had plans of towing would buy a truck with the non-towing gear ratios. An unscrupulous RAM dealer took advantage of me and my only hope was with RAM corporate only for them to tell me to take a hike. RAM needs to step up and take care of this situation, swap out the gears or exchange the truck. Please forward this to the powers that be so this can be handled in a proper way.

New Ram Trucks Have Know defects
I purchased a new Ram and the Navigation system doesn't work. All the 12" screen Ram truck navigation systems don't work, and they don't inform you before you purchase it, won't take it back, and cannot fix it. Uconnect who makes the system admits its a know defect and there is no fix yet. I've been fighting this since July and the dealer, nor Chrysler will buy the truck back. Getting a good lawyer and going after everyone who lied, didn't divulge the truth and wont take the truck back. Don't buy and Chrysler product. They are not part of the Better Business Bureau and now I know why. Mine is 5.7 liter, which isn't even listed as an option for this review. Limited. The liability for lemon laws is different for know defects, check out where you live. For us, the liability is the cost of the vehicle, if the defect was know to Chrysler, there is no liabilty limit and even individuals who lie and even falsify documents to support Chrysler are personnally liable. $$$$$$ don't get taken like I did. I'll never stop informing customers of this terrible organization I will never deal in any Chrysler product including Jeep, Fiat etc

Great truck
Solid all around. Laramie interior features are great. The V6 is perfect for my needs, got alot of trash talking that only V8 is a must, however I'm not hauling loads or trailers daily. Great on gas mileage. Only issue is you have to do a few more steps for the uconnect navigation system to work. Waiting on updates from Chrysler. Also only had the truck a few months- noticed both rear interior door jam under the rubber molding have slight cracking of paint. Going take it in for touch up.

2020 with all the frill without the pills
Where to start. We leased this 2020 with the hopes that we would get more reliability with it being brand new rather than buying used again. We have had the truck 6 months. I am very distraught and severely underwhelmed. It has all the options but the v8. Turns out shoulda had a v8. The 6 cyl is very underpowered. Gets less than 15mpg average. Add a small utility trailer unloaded and you are getting 10. It struggles getting up to speed. Meaning 65 mph is honestly all it wants to do on the freeway any faster and it is screaming. The transmission slips which is amazing considering how long this screamin toddler takes to go at all. Operating rpms at 45mph 1600. It does this really cool thing with the auto start/stop feature where it only performs half of the task. One really special feature is the sound this this things stereo cant put out. Oh there is also the issue of hitting bumps...dont do that unless you are holding on and warn others to brace for impact. My fiance is a big fan of the night time visibility because if you park close enough to your camping spot you might just be able to use the headlights for reading. The other day i was driving down the freeway flying doing 65mph rpms at 2300 and suddenly the truck put itself in park but only according to the dial and dash...thats right i was still driving but was some how in park. Best part was when i got off the freeway it would not go turns out it was now in park. It goes in for service on the 18th im hoping that they come out and say something like welp looks like we sold you the display model and change it out. At least that would explain all of the other special features like brakes that sound like a dying goat. There are so many problems that it would normally be depressing the only light working in this situation is the 1 at the dealership when it comes on 2 years from now when they open because ill be waiting to give this waste of metal back.

2020 Ram 1500 Rebel Nightmare
After driving a 2001 Ford Excursion for 17 years I decided to treat myself to a new truck. I previously owned a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 and loved it. I considered Ford, Chevy, and Ram, but ultimately purchased a 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel (hemi) in 12/19. Within two weeks of driving noticed that water was leaking into the cab. Carpet extremely wet under driver side floor mat. Terrible odor of mildew as a result. Ultimately determined to be a leak in the A pillar. After months of battling with the dealership and Chrysler, Chrysler purchased it back under the lemon law. I was allowed MSRP towards MSRP on another vehicle. Ordered another 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel. It now has 15k miles on it. Horn has gone out and right/front fender well liner has come loose. Never had it off road. These may seem like minor issues but very annoying considering problems with the first one. NEVER AGAIN. Should have bought a Ford. My son is still driving my 2001 Excursion.
