Used 1990 Pontiac Bonneville Consumer Reviews
232,000 miles and still running!
This car had one owner before it became a family car, belonging to my mom, my brother, me, my boyfriend (now husband), and back to me after a newer different make and model vehicle died on me. It's never had any major problems. The car has always had great power. The air hasn't worked for a while and the windows roll up and down a little slowly now. I have a really bad transmission leak and have been concerned that the transmission might not last for about 50,000 miles, but it still keeps running. The stereo is starting to go out too now. But it's truly amazing how long this car has lasted!! I can't believe it still runs as smoothly as it does at 232,000 miles!
Greatest Ride of the 90's
This car is a sleeper. It handles better than most sports cars of the nineties and still is luxurious and cool for parading through town. The engine is surprisingly hot and has more pick-up than George Clooney.

1990 SSE
We have thoroughly enjoyed this vehicle. It looks like the day we purchased it. Still turns heads when we drive around town.
What a disaster!
Based on the experience I've had with my Bonneville, I would not recommend buying this car. I have put in more than 3 times the amount I've paid for it in repairs. The underside of the car was so corroded I couldn't even jack it up to replace a flat tire. The muffler was rusty, as well as many other parts under the car. The rear doors won't open at all, and the alternater has been replaced a few times. The battery also had corroded cables. The engine required some work as well. I can't speak for everyone, but I have certainly had my share of bad luck with this car.
