2023 Lexus RX 350 Luxury 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl Turbo 8A)
Anyone that purchases a 2023 RX350 with the 8 speed automatic transmission will soon find out how jerky that transmission gets upshifting and downshifting after 500 miles.
The tech is much better than the old RX, especially the cameras that are not grainy anymore with the exception of the digital rear view mirror which appears to be VGA quality.
The infotainment and steering wheel … buttons are not user friendly at all, but I overlooked all those shortcomings hoping that I would at least have a comfortable and reliable vehicle.
The transmission jerking is so bad that it feels like it will give out at any moment and Lexus’ response is to tell you to make sure to use premium fuel and drive on Eco mode.
The suede dash on the passenger side comes loose or off depending on your vehicle built date, another thing Lexus has no fix for, so the only option that leaves you is to glue it, a brand new Luxury vehicle over $70,000, and you have to use glue to keep parts in place.
