What a blast

Smooth performance vehicle. Understated speed. I have the e500 sport seires. Black with charcoal interior with black maple trim and silver accents. Very aggressive and very fast. I have never felt as secure behind the wheel of a vehicle. Drawbacks- complex electronic settings- you need the manual and an excellent but somewhat quirky sterio system. It sometimes gets static and the won't turn off (temporarily)!

E500 4Matic Sedan

Phenomenal vehicle for those looking for a luxury sport sedan with a lot of power. Handles bumps and potholes much better than the equivalent BMW, and accelerates effortlessly in a straight line. However, if you live for taking sharp turns at 75 mph, this car doesn't come close to the BMWs I've owned. The interior is impeccable. The seats are extremely comfortable and the audio system (base system) is fantastic. Integrated phone system is a must as you can bring your own wireless service (rather than paying $0.50 per minute through onstar or similar service). The trunk is HUGE and the exterior design is simply unbeatable.

Great car and amazingly fun to drive. We love the extra interior room without having to drive an SUV. What a nice change after 12 Years of SUV's. Reliable and sticks right to the road even on snow (we have AWD option). This one is a keeper.

I never would have thought that a car would drive better than my previous (e 430) but this car met and exceeded expectations. The 4 Matic give the car a whole new feel in bad conditions. The redesign gives the E Class a more sporty feel without sacrificing luxury.

Great Drive - Poor Electronics

The E500 is a fun car to drive and it lives up to all the superlatives. However, the audio, phone, and electronic systems are extremely poor and unreliable. The audio system has a mind of its own, the integrated phone system spent more time in the shop than in use, and false warning indications have been common. As a result, I will never buy another MB.
