Dealership Service Review
On the 10th of June 2022 my wife and I went to the Heartland Toyota Dealership in Bremerton to have our 2012 Prius checked out due to some display lights. The service department did a check and said we had a failing master solenoid in the brake system. They assured us that the car was still safe to drive and then said that since they did not have the part on site that they would have to order the part. They could not tell us the date since the part was back ordered. They made it sound like this nags never happened before and that was why they didn’t have the part. Week by week we would call and they would explain that the part was still back ordered. Months of this went by and finally we were able to get a new answer. They have the part and we scheduled an appointment. We came at 1055 for the 1100 appointment on the 9th of September to Heartland Toyota Dealership in Bremerton. The assistant service manager quickly found our appointment yet seemed confused. The assistant service manager took our key and said they would do their best to have it completed within the same day but no promises. Thirty minutes later we get a call from the assistant service manager about how the part is not on site and it is still back ordered. We return thirty minutes after the phone call and they do not have our car ready for pick up and needed over an hour to try and return our money for the parts that we paid for yet never received. After waiting for over an hour at Heartland Toyota Dealer in Bremerton, they then said that since the payment was so long ago they did not know how to return the money. As if this was our fault. We left telling them to mail the check to our address. The Assistant Service Manager was even laughing at my frustration with their incompetence. The attitude of the dealership was uncaring and completely comfortable with how they were treating us. They made no effort to correct the situation. The excessive amount of effort to constantly check on statuses and lack of effort for the dealership to complete their end of the business was astounding. Had we not been so persistent, I believe that Heartland Toyota Dealership in Bremerton would have never ordered the part and contacted us for the repair or returned our money. I have zero trust with this dealership and will not be trusting them to ensure that my family is safe on the road. I do not recommend this dealership to anyone.
