Dealership Service Review
1. Customer service A. The constant communication between Frank Lindsley @ service dept. and myself (keeping me up to date on a regular basis). B. The exceptional length one of your sales representatives (I don't know how to spell her name; something like Anastasia M., her last name is Russian but her ancestry is Latvian) - exceptional because we were having a difficult time getting a loaner car as the dealership no longer had any available, SHE (with neither of us knowing each other) took the time to walk over to the BMW dealership and walked back with their manager to Mini with the desire that he might be able to facilitate the ability for Mini to provide us with a loaner car, which he did. The repairs and back orders from Germany meant I would be without a car for almost a month. For this woman, from another dept. with whom we had never had any contact previously, to intercede on our behalf is the PERSONIFICATION of the most thoughtful customer service I had ever received and showed to me Mini's exemplary emphasis on their customers. She was so concerned about our experience remaining a positive one. I had called several times to speak with the supervisor at Mini to inform her about what Anastasia had done for us, but was unable to reach her as she was on vacation. But I will continue trying. It is my hope that she can be recognized in a special way by Mini/BMW for going that extra mile in demonstrating how much you do value your customers. I have never experienced anything like this or my interactions with John Lindsley at any other dealership. For me, it's not about only the sale, which obviously is important otherwise you would have to close down, but building and maintaining a trust with the customer that will create a desire within him/her to want to come back. Too bad such an attitude is not more universal, as has been my experience. Plus the driving experience of a Mini is quite unique and exciting. PLEASE do not forget about Anastasia! (I hope I have her name spelled correctly.)
