Wife had to walk home

onI bought a brand new Countryman last year fully loaded for my wife's birthday. Wife's dream car. She loves it. 1 year later (little over 6K miles), the car breaks down. It won't stay in gear. We call the service department and let them know it's our only car and she's stuck at a business. When we bought the car, the dealership said if we ever had a problem, they would provide a no cost loaner immediately. The service department now says they don't have any loaners available and my wife has to walk home. No words to describe how disgusted I am right now.
