Mercedes Benz of Midlothian to the Rescue

While I was in Richmond visiting my daughter my Mercedes starting making a strange noise. It grew louder so I went to the closest Mercedes dealer on Broad street Mercedes Benz of Richmond for emergency help. I was turned away and told they could not even take a look or even listen to give me advice on the car being safe to drive for 5 days. They were too busy to offer any kind of assistance: I was stuck and had no choice but to drive back to my daughter's house with my car making this horrible noise. I was suppose to return home in a day or 2 not knowing if my car was even safe to drive. I checked with AAA car care service and they said I could bring it in the following morning and they would take a look. My car has had every maintanence performed at my Virginia Beach Mercedes dealer but what choice did I have? My daughter called with an alternate Mercedes service option. Mercedes Benz of Midlothian advised me to come right in since it was an emergency and they would check it out for me. I drove into the service area and Jay took it from there. They diagnosed my problem and gave me an estimate and repair timeline. My power steering pump was the problem so the part was ordered and my car was ready to go the next day. They were willing to take a look and ended up making the repair very quickly so I was able to drive home safely. What a difference good service makes! Thank you to Jay and the Mercedes service crew for rescuing me!
