Dealership Sales Review
I just bought my CR-V from Lute Riley. I negotiate the price and agree on everything by e-mail before I walk into a dealer. I don't deal with dealers that don't give me a firm price and spell out all dealer add-ons by e-mail. I got quotes from 3 dealers via [violative content deleted] and also got quotes from 2 other dealers. Dave Chiles, Internet Manager@Lute Riley, was the only one who gave me the firm price and spelled out everything by e-mail. Most other dealers said "Come in and I'll beat my competitor's price" "I'll give you the best deal if you come in", etc. I ain't wasting my time driving to dealers unless they promise to give me what I want. Dave was also the only one who initially contacted me by e-mail instead of phone, as I had requested--every other caller ignored my request and called me instead of e-mailing me first!!! So I went to Lute Riley just to do the paperwork today. Dave didn't try to sell me anything else or change the price. Their customer service manager didn't push when I said I didn't want any accessories. Their business manager didn't push when I declined to buy extended warranty. I walked away with exactly what I wanted at the price quoted by e-mail in about an hour. I would buy from Dave and this dealer again and highly recommend him to anyone who wants a Honda.
