Very disappointed with their service department

I called about a computer problem that caused my Bronco Sport to fail inspection at a different service center. I spoke with a David there and he told me that it was problem with the OBD and there was an download that would remedy the issue. He said that it would take about 2 hours and as long as we were there before 3:00 we could have it done that day. We got there at 12:30 and was told that it took 6 hours for the download and don't know who would have told me 2 hours. I gave them the name and both David's who work there said that they would never tell anyone it took 2 hours. I know what he told me, that's why we rushed over there to get it done so we could have our Bronco inspected after the download. They did try to run it through their inspection machine, but it failed again for the same reason. I was told that I could leave it there over the weekend or bring it back on Monday morning to wait in line for their service techs. I wasn't given any indication whether it would be finished on Monday or not. I can't leave it there for more than one working day, we have one vehicle (which I realize that isn't their problem, but we can't be without a car and they don't offer loaner cars anymore). I've never had service like this before from AutoNation Ford Katy and won't be returning to them again. We've been a customer of theirs since before they were AutoNation or Champion, they were Texan when we first started purchasing from them. I don't know when they stopped offering loaners, but there wasn't an offer of assistance except to take me home to wait for my Bronco to be taken care of. I'm beyond disappointed in their service department.
