AutoNation Ford Katy
Dealership Service Review
Service department - WORST ANYWHERE Warriors in Pink is BS. I am a recovering cancer patient. Do I matter? No I do not. Was I misled with my last repair, YES I WAS. Will they make it right? NO THEY WILL NOT. Even if I was a regular Joe off the street, they should MAKE IT RIGHT when they don't do the work as promised, with NO DELAYS. They should get you worked in SAME DAY. My 17 year old factory alarm is malfunctioning, it's a seven part system, and has been killing the truck, nothing working, truck thinks it's being stolen, so all is dead. No crank, no nothing. This is a known issue, already paid to diagnose, and I am being told today (after leaving a lengthy message yesterday that was NOT returned, they are just too busy to check messages) that they have absolutely NO IDEA what is wrong with my vehicle and it will have to be diagnosed. SERIOUSLY?!?!? They told me in May, "we completely disabled your alarm system, you won't have this problem again." They did not tell me that if the connection to my battery is lost, the alarm system will come back on and I will AGAIN BE STRANDED, this time, for THREE DAYS I have been stranded away from my home and pets. Do they care, NO. Can they get me in today??? Sure, but they can't look at it till tomorrow, and they can't guarantee that it can be fixed tomorrow, when I have to be at the airport at 1pm. And, if I am towed in today, I can't leave till it's fixed. Will they house me overnight, of course not .. but if I don't bring it in today, my chances of it getting fixed tomorrow are slim because even though their message says you can make an appointment, YOU CAN'T. Then I am being told I can bring it in the morning, still, can't guarantee BLAH BLAH BLAH, you are just cattle, don't expect us to give you any priority even though we LIED TO YOU BEFORE. Did they even offer to disable it again to get me back on the road? NO, "we don't know what is wrong with your vehicle, we have to diagnose (and charge you more money that you don't have), BLAH BLAH read from our script" ... Backstory, when I went in May. I was told by the dealership near me, there is only one magical guy in Houston who still knows how to work on your alarm, he is at AutoNation in Katy, you have to go there. I call, and I am told, yes, we have him, he is here today, come on over. I tell them I am getting towed in, they said we are here, come on over. I get there, whole different story ... oh, if you had gotten here in the morning, we could have gotten to you today .. well maybe you should have TOLD ME THAT, and I had to wait hours for the tow truck .. so bottom line, they wouldn't fix it because I would have had to wait DAYS, so, they supposedly disabled it completely. Guess what, they didn't. Will they make it right today? NO. Ever even, NO. Pay again. Diagnose again. They are talking to me like I am a stupid female. I made it very clear that I have worked on cars, that I can do research, the most likely cause is a fuse, I even know which fuse. "Ma'am, we have absolutely no idea what is wrong with your vehicle, we have to diagnose .... " OH MY GOD, this is how you treat people? You don't call them back, admit you haven't even listened to messages today AND re-charge them for the same things over and over and don't stand by your work?????? I need to go back to you because I expected you to right this wrong, and now, I am being told I am cattle, and have to start from scratch? So basically, I don't matter, NONE OF US DO. We aren't customers, we are cattle. I can't afford to go somewhere else and start from scratch, but I guess that is what I am being forced to do. And yes, I spoke to a manager. He didn't want to listen, talked over me and defended the first person I spoke to, who was contradicting himself with every sentence. Sad, because this is where I originally bought this truck, new. They have an F rating on BBB for a reason.
