Dealership Sales Review
Just before the 4th of July, I had settled on an F150, so I visited this dealership and met Mr JC Robinson. We test drove a 150, and I said I wanted to think about it. The next day, I emailed JC and he responded with a formal quote. I came by the next day, drove the truck and decided to buy that one. I would characterize it as a low-pressure, no surprises experience. The price I paid was exactly what was quoted in the email. I financed with Ford, so the Finance guy certainly wanted me to purchase extras, but I politely declined and all was well. On my way out, JC said "You mentioned that you were a veteran." I had mentioned that I was Air Force during Viet Nam. He said that Ford had a veteran appreciation program and that I should fill out some forms, send them to him and he would send them to Ford. Ford would then send me a check for $1,000 because I had fulfilled all the conditions of the special offer. I received that check yesterday. I appreciated the fact that JC mentioned the program, and that Ford was prompt in honoring its commitments. Well done.
