AutoNation Ford Gulf Freeway

When I was informed that I was going to be getting a new truck, I thought I new exactly what I wanted. A big, strong V8 with 4 wheel drive, and enough room to carry along my friends. When I began browsing online and asking for prices, many of the other dealerships emailed me back with a picture of 1 truck they had on the lot similiar to what I had asked for, but Cleon at Champion Ford emailed me with 3 of the exact truck I had specified and told me they had even more options on the lot I could look at. Before I went to Champion, I stopped by another dealer to see what they had. They didnt have any of the ones I wanted, and only a few with the big V8's. The man there gave me, what he said was the lowest and best deal he could do on one of the V6's, I wasnt too impressed. When I arrived at Champion my experience was completely different. Cleon took me out and showed me all of the F-150's they had in back. He convinced me to do a test drive on a F-150 with the new Eco-Boost motor even though he knew my determination for a V8. Ill be honest, at first I thought this man was trying to destroy my dreams of owning a powerful engine and bragging rights. But after giving that truck a spin and showing me all the features it had, I was amazed that I was actually enjoying driving a truck that had a V6. Then he went even further to tell me that engine had more horsepower and more torque then the V8 I had originally wanted. I couldnt believe it, I was in love with this truck. After talking with Cleon about my experience with the other dealership and about what price they said they could do for me, He was smiling so big I knew he had to have been holding back a laugh. The price he gave me on a truck that had even more to offer then the other dealership, and was in the color I wanted, was a substantial amount lower then what the other guys said was the best deal. I ended up leaving the lot in my brand new, V6, F-150. All in all, my experience at Champion with Cleon was above and beyond anything I've ever experienced before at a dealership. He was friendly and very well educated in all the capabilities of the particular truck I was interested in. I am still, as I sit here writing this, amazed at how much lower the cost was that Cleon gave me, then what the other guys had said. Cleon really made my car buying experience something I enjoyed and had fun doing, and for that I will send every person who ask me about my truck to go see him at Champion Ford.
