Dealership Sales Review
Buying a car from autonation should have been an easy deal. It started when I drove several hours to a dealership after talking to the salesman all day. He said he would have the truck there to look at when I got there. Turns out when I got there the truck wasn't there. It was still at the original dealer.my salesman I spoke to all day and set up an appointment with also left and was not onsite. Instead of explaining why the truck wasn't there they proceeded to try to sell me something else. I was there for that specific truck. I left and drove to the dealer the truck was at the next day. Started paperwork on the vehicle and turned out the interest rate was too high so I opted to get a co signer. My co signer was not able to make it to the dealer on Saturday and needed to wait till Monday to meet me there. While I waited the dealer sold the truck I had started paperwork on. This upset me but it is what it is. I finally settle on a 22 silverado ltz and buy it. They tell me it will be 2 days before it is ready. 2days pass and I get the call to pick it up. When I get there, the truck is disgustingly dirty, and there is a litteral piece of the truck hanging off the back end. (Exhuast tip) the windshield is smashed, and it's got several dents. I was furious. They claimed everything will be fixed and send me home in yet another loaner telling me 6 days. Fast forward 6 more days and I go to pick up the truck for a second time. The dents were not fixed, and the exhaust tip looks like a teenager in shop class put it on. It's crooked and only bolted on one side so it wobbles. Hands down the worst experience I've ever had at a dealer. Steer clear.
