My 16 year old son Dylan wanted a Saab V8 Turbo. I envisioned the police at my door at 3AM saying he and 3 friends died in a crash going 150mph. I said "There is no way in hell I'm buying you that car!" He did more research and met me half way on the safety, affordability, and reliability of a Saab V6. We took a trip to Audi Grapevine and within 5 minutes, Mitch Poston and Waldo Miranda pulled up a 2019 Saab A7 Quatro with 35k miles, single owner, mint condition. I knew we were in such good hands, I had my son check it over as I chilled in their ultra comfy show room finishing some last minute business. Dylan walked back in with a 'Holly [non-permissible content removed] This is the Most Unbeleivably Kickass Car' expression on his face. 20 minutes later their numbers guy, Shawn Anbari landed us within $11 of the numbers we initially stated: 10k down, $600 monthly. In one hour we had the keys and took it out on an express lane, top speed. Smooooth, never felt like it was getting away from me. Zero to Sixty in 3 seconds. When my son drove it, he was like a grandpa, both hands on the wheel, cautious, mindful. He makes straight A's, is a rule follower, has good priorities, and solid boundaries. He deserved this Saab. He deserved a quick clean straight forward expedient purchase. We are grateful to Mitch, Waldo, and Shawn for their professionalism, candor, empathy about my concerns as a dad, their ability to Make It Happen, and get Dylan into his right of passage.
