BMW of Dallas
Dealership Sales Review
As an out-of-state buyer, I recently attempted to purchase a BMW i3 from BMW of Dallas, and unfortunately, my experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Initially, I was drawn to a vehicle listed by BMW of Dallas and was promptly provided with a video and photos of the car by a sales associate named Steven Saroyan. However, the troubles began when I expressed my interest in securing the vehicle with a deposit on Monday 2/26/2024. Despite my willingness to commit financially, I was abruptly informed that the dealership couldn't hold vehicles due to being a publicly traded company. Undeterred, I decided to confirm my purchase decision the following morning on 2/27/2024. Before the dealership even opened, I proactively reached out to the sales associate, expressing my intent to proceed with the purchase and specifying my preferred payment method and time for wire transfer. However, just as I was prepared to make the payment, I received shocking news: the dealership was HOLDING the vehicle for a local client to view. This revelation completely contradicted their earlier statement about not holding vehicles, leaving me feeling betrayed and frustrated. The inconsistency in policies and the disregard for my commitment as an out-of-state buyer made this entire experience the worst I've ever had with a car dealership. It's unacceptable to give preference to local buyers at the expense of committed out-of-state customers. In conclusion, I strongly advise potential buyers, especially those from out of state, to exercise caution when dealing with BMW of Dallas. My experience highlights significant flaws in their customer service and sales practices, and I would caution anyone considering a purchase from them to proceed with extreme caution.
