5 hrs waiting for nothing

I took my car to do some warranty service with an appointment cause the day I came in they were too busy. I was left waiting for 5hrs to then be told that some type of bs about the headlights that do not make sense and the rattling I have to come back but with no follow up appointment or anything. I wasted 5hrs of my time to accomplish 0 fixes on my car.
