3 Days after my purchase the check engine light came on. I made an appointment and noted I would wait for my car. They said I had to leave it and wasted time off from work. I made another appointment and the guy said I could take my car to the dealership for the make of my car. Continued to say that BMW people think they’re better than everyone else, 5 times in 1 minute. He had his ears pierced and made me feel very uncomfortable . He then made me walk into the building to write me the number of the extended warranty and told me to give it to the dealership when I make another appointment, then said BMW people think their better than everybody. . All of this could have been told to me over the phone instead of making book two appointments and missing hours of work. The engine splash guard was not attached when I fought the car and I could hear it scraping anytime I hit the brakes. The timing chain had been replaced incorrectly recently and was too tight, as the tensioner was installed incorrectly. I had my car for a week and it’s being worked on by actual professionals at BMW. The O2 sensors were bad and had to be replaced. I will never buy a car from Autonation Toyota South Austin ever again and recommend that to all my colleagues. The sales person and the final loan officer who worked with me were great.
