Called dealer on corvette Z06 convertible- calling dealer from Minnesota and spoke with Donnie Young on 11/26 who told me it was owners car who had it for the weekend and it would be back at dealership. He assured me dealer was very careful with his cars and he just wanted to make sure car would be back on Monday and i would fly to Cincinnati 11/30 so they could have it cleaned and deliverable. He contacted one of owners of dealership and assured me it would be back Monday so I bought one-way airplane tickets there with lodging. Asked if he needed anything like CC or wire from me he said we were good. Called at 830 am 11/28 and reconnected and gave him my corporate EIN tax code, SSI, and Copy of DL via text and email. He told me I'd need to bring Cashiers check which I said I would. 2 hours later i get a call from him that someone either in or connected to dealership wants the car and it is not available after taking all my personal info. It wasn't til 530 pm that Fred Manegold (who was nice but unable to do anything) got back to me to say there was no purchase agreement and this "new" customer bought it today. He says he'd like to make it right but there are none like that on market so I find it highly unlikely. If you are OUT of STATE or distant buyer don't trust them -Do not make plans or spend money to go there. They will sell it out from under you and take your private information. I will update this review if they ever are descent to me, make up travel expense loss or come through. I am a physician held to high standards personally/professionally and have described this to seperate Cadillac and GMC dealers I know and they have never heard of anything like it. Chevrolet customer relations was worthless and explained dealerships are all independent so don't expect much from them. I had this week off to find my dream car and it was stolen... I am not sure I ever even want a corvette again after all I have learned and experienced. I lost time off paying another physician to cover my practice, airline and hotel expenses, and all my private information. They gave a weak sign they might help me probably too late to even drive it home this winter. They wouldn't accept CC or wire or check by phone cuz "they didn't need it" but when an insider wanted it they ask me if there was a purchase agreement - told I didn't need one- gave my personal and company information and just have unusable one-way airline ticket purchased before their "sale". DO NOT GO OUT OF YOUR WAY TO BUY FROM THEM!
