Oil and Air Filter Change Turned into a Bill almost $6,000

I visited this location Jan 2023 requesting an overall inspection of the car. Multi Point Inspection concluded that rear brake pads needed replacement, and air filter change would be needed soon. Inspection concluded that all else was fine including tires (no attention needed at this time), GBK brakes test (Good at this time, not attention needed), and GBATT battery test (Good at this time, not attention needed). I appreciated the service, and returned May 2023 for an oil change, air filter replacement, only to find a laundry list of items wrong with my car totaling $5,800. Most of these items seem to be from wear and tear, so why didn't they come up the first time in January? Included in this estimate was front brake replacement, but the cost had doubled compared to January's rear brake replacement. I do not understand how all of these additional service items were not found from the first visit with a multi point inspection. I was told my quote of $680; however, while reviewing the charges before paying I noted the bill erroneously totaled over $800. Service representative corrected the bill (glad I reviewed it first). I was left unsatisfied and now lack trust in their services.
