Title problems

onI purchased a used 2017 Volvo xc90 on January 23,2024 and I have contacted three different persons at this dealership. Both by phone and in person. In reference to the title. I was told by all three that they were going to take care of it.that hasn't happened and now no one returns my calls.I personally went to Department of motor vehicles and I was informed that the person who traded the Volvo in probably had a lien on it. Because of that I won't be able to receive a the title until that lien is satisfied. The DMV STATE THAT HAVE NO INFORMATION DATA ON THE VEHICLE THAT I PURCHASED. I PAID CASH FOR THIS VEHICLE AND I HAVE NO PROOF OF OWNERSHIP.
