Dealership Service Review
I made an appointment to have my new Lexus serviced at the Lexus of Cerritos location, arrived 15 minutes early and pulled in to the service department. I noticed 2 other patrons arriving at the same time as me who were immediately approached and assisted. I was told by the service attendants someone would be out to assist me soon. I was still waiting 20 minutes later and decided to walk in and use the restroom, then came out and waited another 10 minutes and ask one of the ladies inside at her desk named Dorothy, how do I get some assistance. She told me she could help me and to have a seat. Dorothy was great and sensed that I was not pleased. I would actually say she saved my experience with Cerritos Lexus. Although I’m still not sure if I would return. As I said I pulled up at the same time as 2 other patrons, one Asian and one Latino who were helped immediately. I myself a black man had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes and still had to approach someone before I got assistance. Which is unacceptable and very uncomfortable, I would hate to think it was because of my skin tone but it very well felt like exactly that.
