AVOID at ALL COSTS! I was reluctant to give 5 stars before, but let things slide until now. I’m just fed up with this dealership. 1) Whole buying experience with sales team for my GX 550 was unprofessional and sleazy. Forced add ons that were well above market value. They even pulled a sleazy sales tactic during negotiations by telling me there was another bidder for the car I wanted and to choke up $8k over if I still want it. I called their bluff and they made up a dumb excuse. Do not work with Siddartha or Elaine. Strike 1. 2) When my car was delivered I asked them to not drill any holes on the bumper for license plate. They assured me brackets would be installed on the grill. I asked at least 5 times prior to pickup (10 days to prep car). When I get the car they obliterated the bumper with 4 holes drilled. I did not find out until a month out while installing new plates. They lied to me and have nothing to rectify the situation or compensate for damaging my vehicle when I explicitly told them not to. No sense of accountability or professionalism from the top down. Strike 2. 3) Day of pickup, the entire sales team was bantering about partying the night before and throwing out F bombs with no regard for the customer. They can do whatever they want on their own time but I expect much more class from a Lexus dealership. Communication throughout was more or less the same. Very sleazy, nonchalant, unprofessional. Strike 3 4) Day of pickup, they didn’t complete putting on the door protection film I paid $1200 for. Of course the market price is $100 but this is part of the sleaziness. The problem is it wasn’t installed the day I picked it up, so I asked to reduce the car price by $1200 since I don’t want it anyway. They insisted it was required and I had to come back on my own time to get it installed. I live 40 miles away! Why should I have to pay with my time to come and do something that they didn’t deliver. Any other retailer would refund but they would not. At this point I was tired of fighting. Again, sleazy and unprofessional and just out right bad customer service. strike 4. The only bright side is Marlon from finance and the service department. Good experience with them. sales is the problem and GM hasn’t responded to my email. I will have to report to corporate. This is not what anyone should expect from any dealership, let alone a Lexus dealership. Keep in mind, I’m no spring chicken. This is the 7th car I’ve brought or leased, 2 others being from Toyota/Lexus and this is BY FAR the worst experience I’ve encountered. Bring your business elsewhere.
