Used 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV Consumer Reviews
New Bolt drive off the lot and did 400 mile drive
Dry roomy. Drove from LA (Barstow area) to SF through the huge rainstorms on 3/21, and had no troubles at all. Charging was easy along Hwy 99

First EV I've owned
So far so good. We ordered a fully loaded Bolt Premium, but they stopped building them. We got a loaded Bolt LT Redline. Locally you have a range of 300 miles plus if you drive conservatively. But this car is fast - maybe the fastest car I've ever owned. I installed a 240VAC outlet in my garage, and charging is fast and cheap - at 15 cents a Kwh, you can get 250 miles for 10 bucks - can't beat it. Long trips are interesting. We took it on a 700-mile round trip to Canada. Going - we stopped twice - once for 20 minutes and once for 25 minutes. Coming back, we stopped for 45 minutes for one charge. The cost is the same as buying gasoline for fast chargers - but they are fast. Also - you have to plan your trip as there are not fast chargers everywhere and we went through the Adirondacks - I guess more and more will be built in the future. The next trip to Canada we will take our gasoline SUV mostly because it will be winter, and heat reduces the milage and gas stations are everywhere. But if you have a 200-mile round trip, this a great car - and that is the majority of our trips. Also - the cost was incredible. In NJ, there is no sales tax on an EV, and we signed up and got the $4,000 rebate EVs sold in NJ, and there is a $7,500 federal tax rebate. So a car that costs $34,000 dollars (with tax) actually cost us $22,000. The battery is guaranteed for 8 years - crazy good deal.
Great Commuter
So far our Chevy Bolt has been a great little car to get me to and from work. My commute is about 80 miles, and cost me about $5.00 a day instead of $15.00. This car is large enough to do 99% of what we want a car to do. I am happy with my purchase.

First full EV and I love it
Ride quality is beyond expectations. Very quiet, peppy, lots of tech and plenty of range for me. A super value
