The 2025 Equinox uses the same 1.5T engine from the previous generation. The engine has the lowest horsepower and poorest fuel economy in the small SUV class. I am averaging 28 mpg with 5,000 miles. My 2013 Honda CR-V AWD had the same fuel economy. Garbage.
The 2025 Equinox does not have a upgraded sound system. The Bose sound system from the previous generation was removed in the … latest generation. The sound system is absolutely garbage for the price point. I get better sound quality with a $30 Bluetooth speaker.
