2026 Cadillac CT5 Consumer Reviews

Still love my CT5V
This is a GREAT sport sedan with excellent handling, comfortable ride, and strong acceleration with the twin turbo V6 and 10 speed automatic. The styling is also nice and I receive lots of compliments. I have the AWD version for winter months and it has been fine driving in the snow. I have not had any mechanical or warranty issues. In summary, I am very glad I purchased the V version of the CT5 Cadilac model.

668 HP Beast for Less $ Than M5, RS6, or E63
7 months into ownership and 6,500 miles on the odometer. The Blackwing is the ultimate version of the CT5. Yes, it costs over $100K, but it still comes in at less money than a comparable BMW M5, Audi RS6/RS7, or Mercedes AMG E63S. This car runs circles around all of those on a track (a two day track experience near Las Vegas is included with the purchase of a Blackwing... and it was an awesome experience that shows you how capable the car actually is). It always puts a smile on my face when I start the car and the nearly 700 HP V-8 comes to life... it is insanely loud, so much so that I startle people in parking lots frequently. The interior is solid and no longer looks 10 years out of date like the pre-2025s did with their laughable infotainment and driver display screens. My car is white with the sky cool gray performance seats and the red seatbelts which is a sharp looking combination. I got the automatic so that I could also have Super Cruise on my commute (manual Blackwings do not get Super Cruise), and so far SC is by far the best driver assist system I have used. The car will drive itself and change lanes automatically with little fuss and is very smooth overall and does not require you to keep your hands on the wheel at all (though your eyes need to be looking ahead). Overall, the car is a joy to drive. It gets a ton of looks on the road (not to mention people always wanting to race you... good luck). Less than one-third throttle will send this thing well past road legal speeds in seconds, while giving you a playful but controlled rear end (the joy of 668 HP with rear wheel drive). Biggest downsides of the Blackwing are: -Some cheap materials inside that do not belong in a car costing over 100K -Abysmal gas mileage if you are having fun with the car like you should (10-15 MPG if pushing it, if you take it easy on the highway I see more like 23 MPG cruising at 80 MPH) -Not that easy to distinguish a Blackwing from other, lesser, versions of the CT5. Cadillac should have made the carbon fiber exterior trim standard on the Blackwings. There is a reason publications like Car and Driver and Motortrend have called the CT5-V Blackwing one of the greatest, if not the greatest, performance sedan(s) of all time. This thing is a gnarly beast, and if you have the means to afford one, highly recommend a test drive. I had planned on buying a BMW M3 Comp xDrive, but after test driving the Blackwing I was instantly sold.

My 2026 Ct5 Premium Luxury sedan AWD V6
I bought my first Cadillac and was always a Chevrolet owner . We have two Corvettes a 1967 I bought in 1970 all original and our 2017 Z06 650 hp. This Cadillac is my 80th birthday gift to myself. I ordered the AWD V6 twin turbo and I was totally surprise at the all around performance and handling. Every time I drive it is a pleasure. I think I get as many looks with this car as I do in my Corvettes. So many features and unbelievable comfort. It is so much fun to drive. I should have bought one years ago.
