Performance Beast
Love the ride, firm but comfortable. Double personality, and never out of power. Fuel economy not as bad for an 8 cylinder: up to 24 mpg of highway drive. Love it !

Amazing head-turner design with a powerful engine
I always thought the X6 design is unique, sporty and more aggressive (compared to the traditional boxy SUVs like the X5). I have another midsize SUV to do the task of carrying big boxes and occasional small furniture when helping out friends and relatives move. This X6, however, is for my daily commute and I must say it is absolutely FUN to drive. The 335 hp makes my drive from home to work (and vice versa) exciting (often times I find myself wanting to drive longer than the usual route! LoL). Thanks to its design, it catches a lot of attention from people on the road and on the sidewalks (let's face it, there's not too many of these coupe-design SUVs/SAVs out there - that including similar designed cars from MB, Porsche, Audi and Jaguar). The trunk cargo space is decent for my family. Without folding the second row seats, we were able to fit 2 large luggage and 3 carry-on rollies for a long weekend getaway. 21/26 mpg is also a plus (my older 2016 GLE only gives me 18/23). I'm a happy camper!

BUYER BEWARE
In June 2023, we acquired a pristine 2024 BMW X6 with zero mileage. However, our ownership experience took an unexpected turn when, at around 6000 miles, the car experienced a complete breakdown on December 20, 2024, during my morning commute. Preceding this, there was a disconcerting loud banging noise, reminiscent of someone striking the engine with a hammer. Seeking assistance, we promptly contacted Southpoint BMW. Following their guidance, we had the vehicle towed to Southpoint BMW, a considerable distance of an hour and a half from our residence. Upon reaching out to Southpoint, we learned that insights into the car's issues would be available once a diagnostic evaluation could be conducted, initiating the opening of a help ticket with BMW on December 28, 2023. Subsequently, we received disheartening news— the vehicle's engine was malfunctioning, and the cause remained unknown. The proposed solution was to replace the entire engine of this ostensibly brand-new vehicle. We expressed our dissatisfaction to Southpoint BMW that accepting a brand-new vehicle requiring a complete engine replacement with less than 6000 miles was unacceptable, anticipating irreparable repercussions on the car's future performance and reliability. This situation has led us to question whether the vehicle is a lemon or indicative of a defective product. Acknowledging our concerns, Southpoint BMW assured us of their understanding and committed to presenting viable options for resolution. Among these options are potential avenues like a buyback or repurchase of a new vehicle, aimed at addressing the inconvenience and restoring our confidence in the product. Southpoint BMW's reluctance to address the issue fairly raises concerns about its commitment to ethical business practices, suggesting a focus on financial interests over customer satisfaction. This prompts a closer examination of the dealership's balance between profit motives and customer-centric values.
Mary’s M series 🤍
This is my 3rd BMW 2nd X6 I am so impressed with my new 2023! I love every single thing about it! I like that you don’t see a lot of them on the road, sorry BMW 😳 Kidding aside, they are definitely worth a look and a test drive!
