my brake issues were pretty much limited to accelerated wear, and once pads were worn, and heat build up warped the rotors there would be a vibration in steer column that could be felt in steer wheel when braking slowly and at around the 40 mph mark, the heat build up got so bad at one point on rotor set #3 the rotor surface had cracked, (looked like shattered safety glass) ... I was up in Halifax, Nova Scotia earlier in the year and had booked a compact car to rent at the airport. They gave me a choice of a Focus, Corolla, Elantra and a Sebring. I have noticed that the 2010 Sebring Limited has gone to a six-speed along with its 3.5 motor along with a much higher level of trim. Seems like Chrysler may be trying to reach back for some of the old LH market. My dealer certainly seems to have this opinion - says they are putting a lot more value back into the car.
What good are excellent crash scores for two Chrysler made vehicles that are seemingly atrocious to own. I just read some of the posts for the Dodge Avenger in that forum here and most of them are thumbs down on this machine. Many owners regret having bought them. I was vaguely considering the purchase of a new 2010 Dodge Avenger for myself, but now I'm not so sure. Headaches I don't ... Read More
