  They don't have drain plugs, GM figures it cost too much. Some gm cars don't even have a dipstick for the trans. The last time I had my pan off I welded a plug in. Changing trans fluid is a big mess any way you go about it. My kids Saturn has a drain plug & a spin on filter. I guess that made too much since so gm's answer was ... Read More

  Had the same trouble with my Chevy Lumina. It is likely to be your Crankshaft position sensor. There is a trick to removing it. Let me know if you need help. Art.

  my girlfriend has a 1990 buick century 4 door 6 cyl. somebody split the cover on the electrical wiring and cut some of the wires im trying to find a schematic or wireing diagram that will tell what color wires go to what. the power windows only work from their respective door switches not from main drivers control also lost the dome lights. the radio just has static no controls. and ...   So on friday i was driving and my car just shut off. Its a 90 buick century with the v6 3.3. I have no spark. I installed a new ignition control module, had the coils checked and installed a new ecm. Everything checked out and i still have no spark. does anybody have any ideas?

  hi y'all, i have a 1990 pontiac safari wagon w/a 3.1 6cyl engine - same as the buick century...135kmi...recently it began to hesitate and buck when backing off the accelerator at highway speed...i had "woody" tuned up and the gas filter changed, but the problem persists and has gotten more dramatic...he has begun to idle roughly...would a 1990 have a engine diagnosis hookup...? if so would it be best to have ...   1990 Buick Century Custom, 3.1v6 has 101,000mi. While driving the car and most noticably when turning a corner, you can hear a swoosh sound coming from behind the dash. It almost sounds as if the coolant is swishing from side-to-side. Does anyone know what this could be? I've never heard this before . Thanks!
