Hi Keith. I would be happy to use BMW's new lease program to calculate a sample lease payment on this car for you. According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2009 BMW 128i Convertible that has an MSRP $37,025 and a selling price of $34,750 through BMW Financial Services right now for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year, your zero down, pre-tax monthly payment would be around ... Hi caren1. BMW's June incentives for the 2009 128i Convertible are fairly similar to what they were in June. The $750 is still there and its money factors / residual values are exactly the same. As far as how much you should pay for this car goes, I am not intimately familiar with what the market is like for it right now. You may be able to get an idea of ... Read More

Wow, that sounds like a great deal! That is more than 16% off of MSRP! Our quote for a 2009 128i with sports package, heated seats, and manual transmission was 5% below MSRP (including everything but ttl). Price is $29, 948 and in addition with BMW financing (3.9% for 60 months) BMW will make the first two payments. Trade in is slightly less than kbb (I am assuming this is pretty ... Read More

What comes after Z?, we wondered when Nissan let the stage go black in 1996 and officially bid farewell to the Z-car at an event at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles. Sales of the twin-turbo 300ZX had been declining as fast as applications for library cards, so Nissan simply stopped selling the car in the U.S. It made us wonder where the Z fit in Nissan's future. Yes. The run-flat situation turns me off too... as does the user unfriendly turn signals, the new 2-step starting system and the audio controls. BMWNA is really hurting.... no doubt about it.... I have never seen an entire BMW line for sale at 0.9%. With so many 2008's piling up, the outlook for the 2009's looks bleak at best. BMW will have to seriously cut production to the USA.

My daily driver is a 2003 330Ci, manual, sport package. I love it. I'm 55 YO and have owned many BMW's, starting with a 1979 528i that was a lot of fun. My wife and daughter drive Mini's (both Coopers with automatics) and I've spent many hours driving them. I have a 2009 Cooper S Clubman on order. Here's why: 1. Gas mileage. I have a long commute. 2. Co-existence is fine. I just don't like to see the 3 Series denigrated just because the 1 Series may be slightly more agile, faster and cheaper. The 335i in any guise is still a very satisfying drive. Same boring interior though, in both Series that I've been staring at seemingly for a lifetime, though it has "only" been 15 years. (Almost the same in the 545i, just a bit more wood, that ... Well, the 2009's will be coming out sometime in the fall, so it is normal for the residuals to be dropping during June on the 2008's. It looks like BMW is not having any trouble moving out the 1 and 3 Series vehicles. Their big concern is what the heck to do with vehicles like my 2005 545i coming back to BMW off lease this summer that get only 20 mpg ... Read More

Yes, the 328i sedan is the best BMW lease program this month. However, it is not a good lease program. Residuals dropped 4 whole percentage points in May and stayed that way in June. And the money factor is so so, not high like 1-Series but not aggressive like other car company financing arms either. I'm thinking about extending my lease to see what the lease programs look like on early ... Read More

Okay, this is part 1...let me start of by saying I am an ex-BMW owner, 325i, loved the car. Now I drive a 2008 Lexus IS250 AWD, but I am intrigued by the BMW 135, my dealer got a 128 in stock, so I went to look at the car. While not about the convertible the Coupe was just in an Edmunds article and they claim $30K for the 135i. I think they would sell a great many 135i's if they cost $30K minus options. BMW owners would bemoan losing their premium affordable by the wealthy prestige marque but. I'd certain buy the BMW if I could get one for that price. IF BMW prices the 1 series aggressively they will ... Read More
