Volkswagen has already decided that a production version of its e-Up! will be launched in 2013, and the automaker unveiled a near-production concept of the zero-emissions car in Frankfurt today.
Power for the electric car comes from an electric motor with a peak output of 80 horsepower and a top speed of 84 mph.
The e-Up!'s battery capacity of 18 kilowatt-hours (kWh) allows for approximately 80 miles of driving between charges.
