Also, I just read an article on another car site that stated the 2012 Audi Q7's resale value for 36 months was 64.3%. How does this differ from the residual values in the 40th percentile that is being quoted on Edmunds? Thanks for your help. I'm a newbie.

  You should be able to get a much better deal right now though - if you have an Amex card, you can use the ZAG program to get the car for about a thousand over invoice.
