You know, I love my 2009 A4 and it is a better PERFORMING car than the outgoing 2005 A6. But, tho I live in a BIG TOWN (or small city, Cincinnati), I just can't really use the performance the Audi offers. Imagine how I feel with 10 cylinders, and no autobahn to use them on. Here's what I think was meant, and it is relevant only to the 2009 and 2010 MY versions. A6 could be had with a 3.0TFSI (Supercharged) 300HP engine coupled to a revised software (faster, smoother, shifts) 6 speed tiptronic. My perception or comparison, if you like, was from this perspective: I got out of a 2005 Audi C6 A6 which was pretty well loaded and walked over to my new 2009 Audi B8 A4 (about 15 months ago).
