I live in the Midwest where charging infrastructure is lacking to support EV travel. The hybrid system is ideal for this part of the country. I charge in my garage and start the day with a fresh 40+ miles every day. It's like somebody stops by by garage and puts two gallons of gas in the car every night while I'm sleeping. Seriously, I do all my local errands on battery and only use … gas for distance driving. I'm retired so I don't have the daily commute and only fill up about once a month. If I need to replenish the battery I can do that on the highway without stopping to charge. The one pedal driving and regenerative brakes save lots of wear on brake pads. The seats are very comfortable and the interior is very quiet. All in all it is the best of both worlds; EV and ICE.
