Just bought this car a week ago and I couldn't be happier. When you live in Oregon and there's a lot of rain, there's a lot to be said about having a convertible hardtop and I do emphasize hardtop. I know that some people might have a problem with this, but if routine maintenance and lubrication of the moving parts are done this top ought to last as long as the car. The engine is quite peppy and I really love the controls being so available

Hard to beat the looks of the Eos. We’re original owners of a 2008 Eos Lux. We take it to the shop at every recommended service milestone. There’s been a lot of trouble with the 2.0 motor. Fluid leaks, oil leaks and seals needing replacement. And now it just stopped dead on the road. They say the timing belt broke and the upper end needs major repairs $5,500. We just replaced the timing belt 3 years ago and they’re supposed to last 90,000 miles. So not happy about that. We love the car but can’t decide if we should junk it and move on or repair it and hope it lasts another couple years.

I absolutely love this car!! It is so fun to drive and I get tons of compliments on it. I love the way people get so excited when they see it go from hard top to convertible. Everyone starts to hum the Transformers tune!

My '08 Eos has had almost no problems in the first month. No leaks, no big wind noise, no build problems. Great power and the DSG is awesome. Of course, this car is about the top - real showoff moves. It's also practical because of this top, even in the midwest. If you're looking for fun with enough room for some friends or a golf bag in the back seat, the Eos is the best choice out there.

I bought this car brand new & have had to many problems to list.I used to own VW's and always loved them along with the service. Their service and reliability is nothing like it used to be.I have taken my car to 2 different dealers and both gave horrible service. My car has been in the shop so many times I should be able to call it a lemon, but because they would take to long to find the issues that never happened. This month alone it has been in the shop 3 times and they cannot figure out the electrical issues or a clunking noise. I have had to take it in for leaks 5 times so far. Wish I had more room to tell all problems roof, electrical, stereo, trunk, tranmission, etc
