Love most of my Taos

2022 Volkswagen Taos
Leased the SE in a July 2021 & have just over 10k miles on it. I love that it only needs an oil change every 10k miles (first two covered by dealer). I’ve been lucky that my Taos passed the recalls. Don’t like the “lag” or “jump” some refer to but it doesn’t seem to happen if the auto start/stop function (which is to conserve fuel I was told) is turned off. It’s the first thing I do once … I start the car. Mine’s a turbo and it drives like one. Sound system / technology is good outside of the speakers. Am used to better. I did have a warranty defect with the Sunglass holder. It opened one day while I was driving and wouldn’t close. Dealer taking care of it and mentioned it happened with some of the VW models. Gets decent gas mileage (my other car is a hybrid so can’t really compare lol). Like the heated seats, tons of leg room in back seat for my tall son and cargo space. Drove well on snow (mine is FWD). Auto bright lights is wonderful. Initial wipers were squeaky but dealer is replacing those too. Fun to drive and love the grey color of the car. I wanted a small SUV that didn’t feel small and the Taos is perfect for that at an affordable price. Second VW for me (my husband is a diehard VW fan and owner).
