2002 Toyota Celica
I purchased this car, 6speed manual GTS, back in 2002 from a showroom with 7,000 miles on it. This car is so reliable that I still drive it as of today 1/2020 with 386,000+ miles as my weekend fun car. Has no major issues, just regular maintenance and oil change. Original engine, transmission, second set of clutch and upgraded stereo system and new paint job. The interior still looks … clean and polished. I drive this car hard most of the time up to the redline, cause it's that fun to drive. I get about 32-34mpg on the highway on cruise control. I would buy another one if this thing ever breaks down. Update: 1/8/2020. This car now has 386k+ miles and going strong. Its my weekend car. Looks even better than new with a fresh coat of paint, new windshield, backup camera, dashcam and upgraded performance brakes and rotors. Engine and interior is as clean as can be. Still hitting redline occasionally just for fun. Love that vvtli engine. If Toyota brings back the celica just like the supra, i will consider buying one. Lets Go Places!
