2016 Scion iA
Back again with some info about my 2016 scion IA, manual. In 3 years I was able to rack up 75k miles with minimal issues. 36mpg average and got up to 49mpg on long trips. The car has survived 2 accidents, one in which I was rear ended at a dead stop with the other person going 40+mph. It handled it like a champ. It's a great a commuter car and made it through 2 severe snow storms of 2+ … feet. I drove 3+ hours in both storms, and for the car that it is, handled the storms very well. One storm i did slide into a fire hydrant but that was my fault. Tires are not the worst or best. you are only limited to one brand. They also are pricey for the type of tire. The lack of an arm rest has been annoying but you can order one and install it. Aside from that, this car held its own over the last 3 years. It has been a reliable, fun(on windy roads), gas-sipping machine. Upgrading to a 2019 VW GLI this week but I am sad to let it go.
