2007 Nissan 350Z
Always loved the Z cars, particularly convertibles and recently managed to pick up a 2007 Grand Touring Edition in almost showroom condition from the original owner with just over 23,000 miles. It is the perfect balance between digital and analog. Technology where you need it, but not too much to detract from the OG sports car feel. Performance is enough to get you in trouble without … getting you arrested. Absolute and pure crazy fun to drive. Looking at the Euro-car comparables, you may get a little better 0-60 or more technology, but that will come at a hefty cost of ownership. The 35VQHR engine and the 6M and 5A transmissions are pretty much bulletproof. They were used in all kinds of vehicles so parts are inexpensive and most regular maintenance can be done by any backyard mechanic, if you choose to avoid the dealership. I think this is one of the best vehicles Nissan ever produced, in terms of quality and overall performance. Huge value for $$ and fun, fun, fun to drive.....!!!
