A solid family van

1993 Mercury Villager
Bought it in the first model year
because I felt comfortable with the
proven Maxima drivetrain and I loved
the styling. I've driven this van for
12 years and found it to be reliable,
flexible (you can fit plywood sheets
in it!) and surprisingly fun to
drive. It is REALLY comfy for long
road trips!
Only maintenance gripe is some problem
with the exhaust manifolds, … which tend
to warp or something. I got this
repaired under warranty at 55k mi, but
I had to do it again on my own tab at
110k - ouch.
