I kept my little convertible EOS for 12 years waiting for another car that I would LOVE in the same way. My criteria seemed fairly simple: Quirky (different) AWD, over 35 mpg, nice cruising vehicle that could fit bigger items occasionally, and panaramic sunroof. I didn't get the panaramic roof, but that was okay, I don't sit in the back while driving anyway. I get 36 mpg overall, … which could be better, but I'm pleased with that. It worked VERY NICE in the snow, so that made me very happy, and it is very comfortable (I'm 5'5"). It fits taller people and they will be comfortable, but they do need to bend down low in order to get in. The trunk space is okay, but obviously with the hybrid, it is limited. My son asked why I didn't get the Toyota Prius AWD, and I told him that for not much more money, I have a Lexus, that's why. I love it, and I'm pleased.
