2018 Jeep Wrangler JK
Bought this vehicle in April, 2022 as a used 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Sport. My version had had the soft top which the rear plastic covering was punctured and the velcro surrounding it had begun to buckle. The main overall persistent problem with this vehicle in particular and Jeep vehicles in general it is that THEY LEAK!!! One day after enduring four days of relentless rain water had … accumulated inside the vehicle reaching my shins. I had to take it to the dealership to have them remove and replace the dry rotted weatherstripping around the driver and passenger front doors. Some 15 months later I had the soft top converted to a hard top so the entire vehicle is now a pearlized purple. Still have leak issues since the hardtop is not properly aligned in that there is a bit of an abuttment and consequently hard rain comes through on the rear view mirror and on my 8" GPS. Once again 10th trip to the dealership for additional repairs. BUT FOR THE COLOR I would have NEVER BOUGHT this vehicle. The rear windshield wiper did not work had to purchase a special arm to activate the rear windshield wiper. Changed all out parts due to sun bleached discoloration to piano black; paint job and ceramic coating cost of just cosmetic repairs over 15K. Not great on mileage either. Overall very very disappointed with this vehicle would never had bought it again except for the unique color-purple which is my favorite. Would not buy again after all the money that has been spent on purchase price; four year extended warranty program; service department expensive hourly labor rate and parts etc.
