2020 Jaguar I-PACE
This is a vehicle that you need to own for quite a while to fully appreciate. It is whisper quiet with a Range Rover smooth ride. The acceleration is completely linear and the regenerative brakes mean you can drive by just using the accelerator and literally never touching the brake. The combination of accelerator only driving in town and pre-set distance and speed on the highway is … addictive. It is all but impossible to go back to the noisy and crude vehicles with a combustion engine. Plus the leather interior, three screens and glass roof provides a large and airy driving cockpit where you feel completely in charge and in control. This is driving at its best! After 33,000 miles no issues and I am still discovering new features. The reviews of most electric cars are pretty useless because their sole focus seems to be price versus range, yet electric cars have numerous features an ICE vehicle does not. The reviewers seem trapped in the ICE world and as a result key features such as pre-heat, battery performance in the cold, different car entry options, brake set-up, suspension set-up etc are totally missed.
