2002 Dodge Intrepid
2002 Dodge Intrepid ES 3.5 owned for about 160,000 miles. Good performance and comfortable seating. All interior controls are within easy reach. Good safety with side airbags up front. The Infinity Stereo still sounds good. We chose to make use of winter tires and summer tires for better performance in Colorado winters - was a good choice of the years as we found the Intrepid would drive … well through as much as eight inches of snow. Only real mechanical issue we have experiences is with the cooling system: the radiator developed a leak where the upper pipe connection was molded in and the temperature sensor that activates the fans has gone out twice. Overall, a roomy and comfortable sedan that has served us well for 12 years
