2005 Buick LeSabre
I bought my LeSabre from a coworker for not a lot of money. Throurghly cleaning and polishing it, I have received three offers to buy it. Mine is Dark Red Garnet metallic with grey leather seating. It has the soft ride suspension of the three available. The 3800 (231) Series II V6 is wonderful. Really the 2005 Series two is actually a Series III internally without the SuperCharger. … Cruising on interstate at 70-72 mph it averages 34.2 MPG on regular. This is fantastic for a full-size car that will seat 6. Such a shame GM discontinued this engine. Yes the Chevy 3.6 V6 that replaced it has more power but it doesn't get the mileage the 3800 does nor is it anywhere nearly as reliable. The 3800 has been called the best engine ever made.
